ARE THERE A LOT OF HILLS?
No, the route is fairly flat (as marathons go). There are moderate hills at Kilometers 4, 11 and 18. The trail portion of the race is along the Georgian Trail. This is a train track converted to a public trail some years ago. Train tracks are notoriously flat, and so is the Georgian Trail.

ARE THE TRAILS DIFFICULT TO RUN ON?
No, far from it.
The trail portion of the race (about 6 1/2 km) is along the Georgian Trail. This is a train track converted to a public trail some years ago. The trail is flat and (for the most part) straight.
