The registration for the Blue Mountain Marathon is now open, and we already have people registering for this great event.

                The second annual Blue Mountain Half Marathon is set for Sunday September 26th 2010. With a few tweaks to the route, chip timing, and a 5 km race added in this race plans to be better than last year.

We could not have asked for better weather – the race was a complete success.

 Thanks again to our sponsorers, volunteers and participants.  Without your commitment, the event would not have been possible.

Spread the word and start planning for next year.  Plans have already started for the  2010 Blue Mountain Half Marathon and 10K.

Race Kit Pick up

This is a reminder that your race kits may be picked up on Saturday September 19th between 2:00pm and 7:00 pm. It is taking place in the gazebo outside of the Mosaic, just by the Sunset Grill.

If you are not able to pick up your race kit at this time, please contact us at Ruth@BlueMountainMarathon.com so we can make alternate arrangements for you.

The weather man is still promising great weather, so it should be a wonderful day for a run. We are looking forward to a great day for our first half marathon.

7 Days to Go!

There are only 7 days until race day.  We are excited to say that we will have just under 100 runners in our first Blue Mountain Half Marathon, with over 90% of the runners being local. Race kit pick up will be happening at the village of Blue Mountain on Saturday September 19th from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the gazebo outside of Mosaic (in front of Sunset Grill).

If you have not registered as of yet, we are still accepting registrations up to Friday September 18th. The weather man is promising beautiful fall weather. If you are unable to run, but are still interested in volunteering please email Ruth@BlueMountainMarathon.com

A Map of the Route is Now Available

Visit www.BlueMountainMarathon.com, click on “MAP” in the title bar.

The Blue Mountain Half Marathon will start and end at the Villiage at Blue Mountain Resort.  Runners will enjoy a picturesque route on country roads and well groomed scenic trails.  The route is fairly flat, with moderate hills at Kilometers 4, 11 and 18.

Sing up now - Registration is limited to 250 participants and the spots are filling quickly.

Online registration for the Blue Mountain Half Marathon is now open!  Registration fees may be paid by VISA or MasterCard and a confirmation email will be sent immediately. The race is limited to the first 250 entrants, so get your registration in early!

It’s Official: The Race is On!

We received our final approval, and so the rumours are now reality: the half marathon is on, and will be held on Sunday, September 20th at the Village at Blue Mountain.
